Community Care Video Project Winner Videos Released

DENVER, COLORADO (1/11/2016) – In December of 2014, Oswego Creative, Inc. introduced the Community Care Video Project, a pro-bono program where Oswego Creative offers its creative and video production services to local charities and organizations to assist their cause. The help came in the form of Mission Statement or outreach videos where the winning organizations could showcase their efforts. In December of 2015, the videos for the 3 winners were released. Watch the videos here.

The three winners are:

  • San Luis Valley Animal Welfare Society: a husband and wife run animal shelter that has found loving homes for more than 8,000 animals, despite operating out of the poorest county in Colorado.
  • The Action Center: a human-service non-profit organization offering the single-most comprehensive range of services to struggling residents of Jefferson County. It is truly a place where people can get a “hand up,” not a “hand out.”
  • Ekar Farm: an urban organic farm committed to demonstrating how urban farming can help eliminate hunger and malnutrition. From the platform of their 2-acre farm, Ekar Farm educates and engages the community in building a local, healthy and fair food system, with amazing results!

“The Community Care Video Project was a huge success in its first year,” said Bob Mizke, President of Oswego Creative. “It was an great experience, on many levels, for everyone, and we can only hope the winners get as much benefit out of their new videos as our team did making them. We are excited to do this again in 2016.”

Nominations will open soon for the 2016 Community Care Video Project on the Oswego Creative website.
