The Powering America Team, the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electric Workers (IBEW), work tirelessly across the United States and Canada on electrical projects of all classifications. From power plants to solar power fields, from high-rise apartments to NFL stadiums, from residential retrofits to LED lighting solutions, the Powering America team does it all.
Whether each project had 15 men and women on the job for 1,500, the Powering America team knew that they had a story to tell, but with no idea how to effectively tell it. The Powering America team turned to Oswego Creative to develop an engaging platform that would reach beyond the members of the IBEW and NECA to foster an understanding of what the Powering America team is capable of. To tell the story of the Powering America team Oswego Creative developed Electric TV, an online video streaming resource that highlights projects that the Powering America team has worked on and the impact that those projects have had on the industry, customers and the greater community.
The stories covered by Electric TV run the gamut. We have been to Los Angeles to highlight a new “net zero” training center, to the middle of the Nevada desert to see the installation of a solar power facility, and all the way to Minneapolis to watch the men and women of the Powering America team light up the new home of the Minnesota Vikings – US Bank Stadium.
Since Electric TV launched in 2008, Oswego Creative has produced over 125 videos and the ETV YouTube channel has surpassed 2 million views. Electric TV has won many Telly Awards for excellence in video production.
