Recognized as one of the leading hotels of the world, The Sonnenalp Resort of Vail is a Bavarian themed world-class hotel and spa located in the picturesque Vail Valley. Built upon the German philosophy of Gemutlichkeit, or coziness, The Sonnenalp Resort boasts exceptional dining, outstanding shopping, a full service spa, and an 18-hole private golf course all the while being located just steps away from the slopes of Vail Mountain. Embodied by the welcoming and accommodating spirit of Rosanna and Johannes Faessler, whose family has owned and operated the resort for four generations, the Sonnenalp provides incomparable amenities supported by a staff completely committed to creating a treasured vacation experience.
Oswego Creative has previously worked with the Sonnenalp team to promote all their hotel services and amenities offered to guests with Sonnenalp TV, an in-room channel that provides guests with programming that promotes everything that the hotel and Vail has to offer. With Sonnenalp TV, the Sonnenalp saw an overall increase in the use of amenities and services by guests.
With the successful launch of Sonnenalp TV, the Sonnenalp turned to Oswego Creative to help with the promotion of the Sonnenalp Club and its brand new health and fitness center. The 10,000 square foot facility provides members with a state of the gym with three adjoining studio spaces. The new center joins an 18-hole championship golf course, clay and hard tennis courts, family and lap pools and fine and casual dinning providing guests with the finest club experience in the Vail Valley. With the new gym completed the Sonnenalp needed a way to share with not only members but with potential members all facets of the newly remodeled facility. Oswego Creative with its experience promoting and showcasing private clubs and golf resorts (under our Private Club Films division) developed a series of promotional videos that allow the club’s facilities and the majesty of the surrounding area to tell the story of the Sonnenalp Club. Utilizing a variety of visual tools and techniques including time lapse and aerials drone footage, Oswego Creative provided the Sonnenalp with a video that gives the viewer a first person perspective of what it is like to be at the Sonnenalp Club.
